Sunday – Georgia Tour 2011

4:45am call. 5:30am departure. In awesome BCC tradition, we were on time with smiles on our faces!
I’m not really sure what happened after that as I fell asleep, but that could be an indication that all was calm and quiet on the bus. Our first official stop was at 8:30am at a Petro near Beaumont.
At 9:05am, we crossed into Louisiana. There were cheers on the bus! We attempted to watch movies, but the player did its own “shuffle” mode, and there was a short in the audio. That made keeping track of the plot somewhat of a challenge.
12:30pm was the Piccadilly. Yummy food and an impromptu concert! The choristers performed beautifully and were very well received! They even touched the waitress emotionally!
4:30pm brought us to a nice visitor center pit stop in Alabama. No impromptu performance here! Next stop is dinner (Shoney’s) then the hotel.
As far as bus rides go, this one is going very well. Everyone is having a great time!
